The Adult & Family Ministry racks , located on the wall near the Parish Office, contain many ideas for your family .
January marks the beginning of a new year of gathering together to explore the scripture and spirituality of our Tuesday evening “Share the Joy” women’s group. A social is planned for our first session back together on Tuesday, January19th. We will choose a new topic, making this an opportune time to welcome new members. We hope you will join us!
Our popular “Jesus and Me” program for preschoolers and the adults that love them commences on Wednesday, January 27th at 9:30 a.m. as we celebrate “Snowflakes are Angel’s Kisses.” Other dates for “Jesus and Me” are: Wednesday, March 17th (St. Patrick’s Day celebration) and May 19th (an end of the school year extravaganza.)
In February, our Thursday Night faith-sharing/Bible study group begins. We welcome new members at all times throughout the year. Meeting dates are Thursday, February 18th through Thursday, March 25th.
Another Lenten tradition that the whole family will enjoy is the Living Stations of the Cross performed by St. Charles 4th graders on March 19th at 2:20 p.m. and repeated at 7:00 p.m. the same day. A question and answer period follows each performance so little ones can learn more about this great Catholic prayer tradition.
The Great Easter Egg Hunt and Eggs-trava-ganza brings Lent to a close with games, crafts, music, prayer and, of course, egg hunts! This all takes place on Holy Saturday, April 3rd, rain or shine or snow!
Women should also look for the return of our Charlie’s Angels Book Club in the New Year (watch the bulletin for books and times.)
